Permanent popup "unable to send response to invitation"

Hello. Please help to fix the issue with iPhone X.

I get popup "unable to send response to invitation" every ~30 minutes. At the morning when I unlock iPhone I get ~10-15 popups one by one. It really bothers.

I know that it's related to Calendar application. How can I fix it? How can I make Calendar application not to show this popup each time?

What I have already tried:

  • disable / enable Calendar sync switcher in iCloud settings
  • restart iPhone
  • checked all invitations in Calendar and answered all invitations

Hi dmitriy245,

Thanks for posting! I understand you're seeing a frequent pop-up about Calendar invitations, and I'm happy to help.

You've done some great troubleshooting so far. Try tapping Settings > Passwords & Accounts. If you have any third-party accounts here, like Gmail or Yahoo, see if Calendar might be switched on for one of those accounts. If you've verified you have no pending invitations in iCloud calendars, there might be one pending for a different account.

As another possibility, which iOS version are you using? If you haven't updated to iOS 13.1.2 yet, that may help: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

I hope this helps get you started. Kind regards.
