Mac OS Catalina - Wifi not turning ON

I had this exact same problem. I rebooted, still no wifi. The solution was to reset the pram. Restart again and hold down Command + Option + P + R (the keys P and R, doesn't have to be upper case). Make sure you hear the starting chime more than once and don't let go of those keys until you hear it chime. I did 3 or 4 times just to be sure. When it woke up, the wifi was back on.

Yes it is possible to return to Mojave. You need a USB stick and a wired internet connection. Use the instructions here: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT201372

I just did this on my 2014 13" Macbook and WIFI now works. (Apple store was unable to fix the issue on Catalina)

What I did was I booted up my computer in safe mode. While turning on hold shift. Still had the same problem. But then turned off completely, not restart, and it fixed it. See if that works. If not reply to this

This worked when I had no safari, chrome or iCloud

System Preferences > Network > and create a new Network Location (Where it says Automatic) and to re-join a known working wi-fi network.

Restart and hold the shift key while booting.

Possible workaround here – it seems that Apple didn't include the driver for a specific WiFi chip in Catalina…

Be sure to follow the steps under the section “Turn Wi-Fi on or off.” If you’re unable to turn the Wi-Fi on from the current Wi-Fi network shown in the screenshot you provided, try creating a new one using the information for your current Wi-Fi network you’re trying to connect to. 

If you’re still unable to get the new Wi-Fi network to turn on, Contact Apple Support for more assistance.

i have the same problem on my MacBook Air late 2015. I Cant't create a new wifi network either!!! I don't know what to do.

pls have a patch or something to repair this.
