AOC I1601FWUX USB-C external display & Catalina

I have this USB-C monitor that is powered and connected as a display by USB-C. On Upgrading to Catalina last night I noticed it no longer works as a display...any ideas as to why and how to fix?

MacBook 12 usb-c to usb-c external monitor can't get more than 1920 resolution! Since the upgrade to Catalina, can not get a 3440 resolution on my external 44 inch display with usb-c to usb-c!!! can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Tried to reset the PVRAM without luck. thanks

Connecting to Dell Display Monitor E1916HV I am unable to connect a new Dell display monitor E1916HV to my MacBook Pro (13 inch, Mid 2012) running on Catalina 10.15.5. On an older MacBook Pro not upgraded to Catalina, the display will work. I've learned that Catalina does not support external displays, however, I am looking for some workaround that somebody has been able to figure out or an app that can rectify this problem. Please help.

I am having this issue too. I redownloaded the displaylink software and restarted. still no luck.

Just wanted to update anyone that is watching this thread. I tried to connect to that monitor again yesterday and it worked just fine. What I noticed however is that it's much more picky about the cable it will work with. I was using the cable the came with the monitor when I first tried to connect and it didn't work yesterday it did but some others didn't work.
