Photo Library not accessible
I just made the mistake of upgrading to Catalina. I store my photos on my computer, not in the cloud. My photos are no longer accessible. Any suggestions?

With that amount of information, no there are no suggestions.
Why are your photos no longer accessible? Are they managed by an App? Which one? Remember we can't see your machine nor read your mind. You need to give us the information to help you.
When I click the photos icon on the dock I get..... "Photos cannot find the System Photo Library named "Photos Library" (You can open another library and set it as the System Photo Library in Preferences)". I am given the choice to Quit or Open Other.
I click Open Other and it gives me the opportunity to choose my Photos Library from the list (it's the only one on the list).
I choose my Photos Library and it kicks me back to the beginning.
Thanks for your help.
That was my thought as well. Went home to do the restore and for whatever reason a screen appeared that said "Photo Library rebuilding".......and wa-la, we're back. Whatever, like I understand anything that happens behind the screen. Thanks for your prompt replies today.
Sounds like your Photos Library is damaged in some way.
Fastest cure: restore the library from the back up you made prior to upgrading.
I have exactly the same issue!
Then try the exactly same solution.
