Blue discoloration on Retina display on MacBook Pro 13"

I bought my first Mac, a MBP 13" in March 2018 and after this past spring am noticing a bluish cloudy watermark effect that has grown from the center to upper left areas of my display.

Hi DavidA27,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! It's my understanding that you're experiencing a concern with your display. I am happy to provide you guidance.

This type of issue could be related to the hardware of your display. You can try to reset the NVRAM which stores settings related to display resolution: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support. You can also try running a hardware diagnostics test on your Mac: How to use Apple Diagnostics on your Mac - Apple Support.

In the end, if the issues continue, it would be best to have your MacBook inspected and evaluated in-person. You can reach out to discuss these options here: Contact - Official Apple Support. Or, you can visit with your local Apple Store Store List - Apple Store - Apple, or Apple Authorized Service Provider Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector.

Thank you for your post.

Take care.
