Macbook Pro Overheating (No Applications Running)

My Macbook Pro is overheating and I am not using any application. Happens only sometimes, although more often after each time. It lasts usually until I restart the computer, but some days ago it cooled down by itself. First I thought it had something to do with the USB ports or power adapter; still happens when the computer is disconnected from the power outlet.

Apparently there was a process running with the name ".LogicHardwareHelper". Opened and closed Logic Pro X, then Forced Quit the process from Activity Monitor (although apparently the second step was not necessary after only opening and closing the application). The computer is now cool!
