Now that I am on Catalina and itunes is gone, where in the world do you see up coming movie releases so you can pre order them? itunes had a link in the store and you could see all the ones coming out in the next 4 weeks or so all grouped with the week they are coming out. So far I cant find it anywhere in the apple tv app.

Finally found a category there called "Top preorders" which I swear wasn't there earlier when I was looking under the movie tab.
Rather they list them out by the week they are coming out instead of just throwing them all in together though.

This is not the same thing. I do not want to see what Apple thinks are the top films, or what others are ordering. I want to see the list of all upcoming new films by release date that Apple used to show in iTunes. Does this exist anymore? I like to plan out what I am going to purchase in advance, by date.
This is exactly what I want back and what i used it for before on itunes. Now I have no idea when a movie is being released.
On top of that half of them don't say when they are actually available for purchase, they say when they are available for rent, which is usually a month or two later than when you can buy. Its supper annoying.
In the Apple TV App. Click on the Movies Tab to see the store. It has all the movies to rent, buy, pre - order.
I completely agree - id love to be able to order them by date like 'the good old days' of iTunes. I'm not sold on the new TV app - similar problems for seeing new or upcoming TV shows - very annoying
I don't like the new layout for the app - I pre order movies all the time and can't find them now - Apple - fix this
Agree - whoever designed this doesn't wan to sell movies for Apple to movie fans - needs a redesign
