Catalina not Compatible with Logitech Keyboards

Why was Catalina released without advising users that the Catalina OS was not compatible with Logitech Wireless Keyboards....since when does Apple do this to their customers? I have moved through iteration after iteration of OSX with the same hardware without a burp and now suddenly we have compatibility issues!

Hi there! I was having a similar issue with my mouse (M310) I tried everything but nothing seamed to work. Finally I was trying to fix other issue and came across a solution that solved both: use this terminal command to reset the Accessibility permission database: tccutil reset Accessibility.

Just remember to write down all the apps that are in the Accessibility tab in the Security & Privacy to put it back.

PS: I had previously removed the Logi Daemon and Options but apparently that alone doesn't work. You need to run the command. Don't forget to write down the names of the apps before you do that.

FWIW. I just upgraded my 2018 Mac mini with Catalina this morning. I use the Logitech Unifying keyboard and MX Master 2S Mouse along with it. I didn't have any issues with either of them after upgrading the OS.

In addition, Logitech is responsible for providing drivers for any OS updates, not Apple. Hardware vendors are all provided the opportunity to participate in the Apple Developer betas well before the OS is released to the public.

Just finished the upgrade to my 27" Imac...Logitech Unifying keyboard (three different keyboards) NONE work...all the mice work. Support gives me a little lecture about supported devices LOL, been running Logitech on my numerous Imacs , macbook pros and minis for years. Worst part is no heads up that there might be a problem, there are people pestering Logitech (on their forums) for updated drivers.

Logitech has recognized this issue and is working with Apple.

This issue was not caused by Apple. It was an incompatibility with Logitechs prior LCC version and Catalina.

Apple is not responsible for making sure that all 3rd party products work with their OS.
