When swapping between bootcamp and mac, my files all go elsewhere

So, I've recently gotten bootcamp on my Macbook pro 2016. Everything works really well, except that whenever I swap to mac again, all my files go to the boot camp drive. This makes it really weird because I downloaded Rainbow 6 siege the game, but the computer states that I do not have it downloaded, but if I try to drag it to the proper folder, it just states that there are folders open that don't allow it to occur. How can I fix this, and how can I make it so that all my files remain in place?

So I've tested my computer again, and I think that they go to the right folder(not 100% sure) but I've tried with another game. It goes to the exact same folder, however, the one I just downloaded works and the other does not. Not sure now if this is a corruption issue or a misplacement. For short term, I tried deleting and redownloading the game, and it works, but I'm not sure if it will work for a long term.

You should not be manually moving files around. Does the Game installer not the put files in the correct place(s)?

Can you post the

initial directory path where the files are, and,
where they end up after you switch back to Windows from macOS?

That solved is a misclick but, I'm still testing out my idea. I'll tell you if it does not work.

When first downloaded, yes, but when I swap around from windows to mac and back again, its moved elsewhere, thus the computer assumes I don't have it.
