Macbook pro 2018 dead after catalina

I updated and my macbook pro 2018 won't turn on now. It's a disgrace. I have tried every key combination I've found and nothing it's completly dead.

The computer might be on but unresponsive. Try holding the power button - on your computer it is the Touch ID button - for about 10 seconds. Then release and try starting the computer as usual. If this doesn't work to restart the computer, call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store. I won't say an OS upgrade cannot brick a computer but it is very rare.

Solved my similar issue. A few days after upgrading my MacPro from Mojave to Catalina, it crashed and wouldn’t restart. I kept pressing the Power button every few minutes. Sometimes nothing happened, a few times the Apple icon flashed briefly. After about half an hour, it flashed a battery on red, even though my PC was plugged in and the battery was at 100% before the crash. Unplugged and re-plugged (suggested by someone whose MacPro also crashed and restarted after doing this), then pressed the Power button. It restarted and restored the screen to what was up before the crash!

"Logic board... hope you have more luck. "

So then it wasn't the fault of Catalina as you stated. My install of Catalina on my 2018 MBP went perfectly and it runs the same as when I had Mojave. When you get your logic board replaced you should have a good experience with Catalina as long as you're running 64bit apps.

Well then I'm not sure why you posted here because Apple engineers don't come to this site to help people. Best of luck to you but I had no issues with my Catalina install on my 2018 MBP. Please think about this. We're all using Macs and installing the same OS. If many of us are not having issues with our MacBooks failing after installing Catalina then it comes to reason your hardware may be failing and that's not a cause of the OS. If you truly think otherwise then it sounds like you're not very savvy with computers.

Well I don’t believe in coincidence, so only an Apple engineer could convince me that the update didn’t broke some firmware or something like it... and that won’t happen. The guy at the Genius Bar told me I had bad luck and that’s all...I didn’t mention my Apple Watch constantly locking it self on my wrist and my iPhone dropping calls, both things also since iOS 13....I’m preying for a new update soon and see if its gets better or worse. Thanks to all.
