use of TOm TOM Home on MAC

I have a built in TOM TOM navigation system in my Madza CX5 from 2012. It runs with a SD card. Product number is DP5092N00608. Update of maps is supposed to be done using TOM TOM Home. When installing TOM TOM home on my MAC i get the message installation successful. However, the TOM TOM Home, does not open when I insert the SD card via a a SD card reader via the USB port. Consequently I cannot update the the map. Appreciate any help how to resolve. My Mac is running on the latest software Catalina 10.5

Thanks

Nils

Unfortunately TomTom Home is a 32 bit app and Catalina supports only 64 bit apps.

I've too a built in TomTom navigation systems in my Renault Megane and i've the same problem.

We have to wait for a 64 bit version of this app if we want to use it on a Mac.

Hi

TomTom have known about issue for some time but have done nothing about it eg two years---cannot even update website to advise it will not run under Catalina. Have logged many emails with support...all I get is..... has been passed to relevant department and will get back to you..... very poor. The moral of the story is that I will never ever buy a TomTom unit again....
