Has anyone found a fix for being able to update TomTom on MAC Air? The original TT USB lead does not fit the AIR Port. TT was purchased when I had a MacBook PRO.
I have purchased an adaptor/dongle from Apple but TomTom say no other brand of product will allow the SatNav to connect to MY Drive so updating maps is impossible.
TomTom just tell me to use a different computer! So very helpful-NOT!

Have the same problem with my mac book air M1 with garmin express. Will load Garmin Express software. Garmin will open. From there on in nothing. Garmin and Mac will not speak to each other. Was going to try TomTom but got a feeling the problem will still be there. Thanks to your posts I now know it does.

Do you mean that the device you're trying to connect has a USB-A style connector and you're using a newer model MacBook Air that only has USB-C style ports on it? If so, then you just need a USB-C to USB-A adapter.

Hi Jaym. Thanks for the message but I already have that and it doesn't 'work'. Tom Tom say only their cables can be used to directly attach to the computer/device. No intermediary USB will allow the device to be connected! I have given up with them!
Hi. So who would you think is at fault. Apple????? Not sure how many MAC Airs they may have sold but if in the 000s then there must be a lot of unhappy people like us out there.
