Do you expect Apple to sell old models forever? My friend are you trying to say apple don't sell any old model phone?
They sell some older models some times. but eventually they stop selling old models. Or do you think you can go buy an iPhone 1 from Apple at this point?
When would you think would be a good time to discontinue an old iPhone? My friend iPhone 8 is still on their site, is it a latest model? How funny, think wise
Question still stands. When do you think old models should no longer be sold by Apple? Just because they sell the iphone 8 doesn't mean they must continue to sell every other model after it.
How long do you think an old model should continue to be sold? At least for now, not immediately after launching a latest phone whereas they still selling iPhone 8.
Why not? Again just because you want it. There is no vaid reason why Apple should not discontinue one iPhone immediatley upon the release of another.
Why should Apple keep selling an older phone? To satisfy customer to made their freedom of choice
The customer is free to choose from one of the available models. There's 6 different models being sold at this point.
That's a pretty wide selection.
Why is Apple constrained by what you want? Why can't they make the decision that suits them best? They can but dont forget, customer thought is always first.
And they do. They offer 6 different models to choose from. Why is that not enough? How many different models should they offer? Had they discontinued the iPhone 8, you probably would not have had an issue with it. Because its not a model you want.
And why would a commercial company make decisions based anything other than commercial interests? That is why apple is loosing its market day by day.
And that should somehow improve their market? How do you know there is enough market to sustain the iPhone Xs at the same time as the iPhone 11? How do you know doing that won't cause them to further lose market due to too many options that end up being too similar between them.
What you are saying is Apple should sell the iPhone Xs simply because you want it. Not because it makes business sense. Because they still selling iPhone 8.
The iPhone 8 makes sense as an entry level iPhone. Its the cheap end of the line. It is essentially replacing the iPhone 7 as the entry level phone. It makes business sense to offer a cheaper alternative.
It does not make sense to offer an iPhone model that is very similar to the current model, and who's price would not be that different to the current one. Again, why not buy an iPhone 11? Why is the XS so important at this point? Everything the Xs does, the iPhone 11 can do, and more.
