Dear Community,
I need a tip - after installing Catalina (which takes forever btw), symbols on the keyboard are changed - I cannot find @ (here copy-pasted from Google) and many other symbols, which is very, very annoying. I am switching between Croatian, Austrian and US International.
Please, don't judge me - I am desperate :)

Shortcut was changed to resemble Win like behaviour. Alt+v is the @ shortcut on Croatian keyboard.
When in doubt, you can run Cmd+space and enter "keyboard". On that window click on input sources tab and while pressing alt/shift you will see keyboard changing and showing different mappings.

Go to system preferences/keyboard/input sources and make sure you have only the exact keyboards installed you want to use and not any extras.
On US International pc, @ is at shift 2
On Austrian, @ is on option L
On Croatian, @ is on option shift 2

It does that when showing the Croatian flag in the top right corner of the screen? What is produced when you type shift 2?

Yes, that's with Croatian flag in the right top corner. Option Shift 2 makes ˇ and Shift 2 makes " .

Norgul, thank you for this clarification. I really really hate changes like this. I switch between 3 keyboards and 4 languages on a daily basis, so this really makes things more difficult for me. But thank you for the tip. I guess I have to go along with it.
