Can't write "@" on the keyboard after Catalina update

Since I've updated to Catalina, when pressing options+shift+2 I get "ˇ" as a result instead of @. Is there any known fix?

MacBook Air 11", macOS 10.15

What language do you normally type in? Presumably you have the wrong keyboard in system preferences/keyboard/input sources, or Apple has shifted @ to another key for your language.
