The window to search for a song disappeared with Catalina. How, exactly, does one go about quickly finding a sing among thousands in a library? And how, exactly, does one go about finding a specific song to buy on the iTunes store?
To search in "songs" view : Cmd + Shift + F

Use search box top left, when album/song is displayed, right click on song you want and option is then to show in iTunes Store , then you'll see the price to buy, as before....yes its annoying
View > Show Filter Field. Annoyingly it isn't persistent.
For the Store use the search box at the top left and select results from the store.

Thanks for pointing out - this new version is TERRRIBLE why you can't use the search on the top let and then have 'list view' would make way more sense.

Thank you! This solved my issue. I was getting so frustrated by this. I rather this filter be always on and there be an option to turn it off on desktop if I choose so (which I won't). Again, thank you! This solved my issue.
So much easier than clicking a button at the upper left.
