After the latest update, my clock on my lock screen is black. I want it to be white as before. I don't want to change wallpaper or invert other colors. I just want my clock to be white as it was before the update???? Honestly, these updates are great, but I am not sure why updates always change things that didn't need to be changed, like clock font color?? why! help!

Settings, accessibility, display and text size, turn classic invert off. That setting is I believe the only way the clock font would change to black. The iOS 13 update changed nothing about the default white lock screen clock color.
Already gave that a try. Doing this does not effect the lock screen. It still remains black....
Also when I go into wallpaper, to choose a new one, all the times are in black. Please check because this happened right after the update so I think this is something apple did.
It was not the update by itself as it did not do it on any of the several iPhones I know of running iOS 13 (my own iPhone XS and 7 and several friends and colleagues with a mix of iPhone 7, 8, an XR and an 11 Pro). On all the iPhones I have seen with iOS 13 running, nothing changed about the default lock screen display colors.
Have you tried just turning the phone off, and then back on to power cycle it?
It depends on the wallpaper. It's an automatic setting by iOS. You cannot change the color / font on the lock screen, sorry. You can try to set a different wallpaper in order turn it back to white. Inverting Colors wont help because it inverts everything.
Light Wallpaper = Black Font
Dark Wallpaper = White Font
Classic invert is NOT on!!!
If i do turn "classic invert" on .... it inverts everything. Which does make the clock white... but it makes everything inverted! The background icons and everything. This in no way solves my problem.
when taking as screen shot and emailing it to my self it does not capture the inversion... i took a picture of my phone .... see how the background is even inverted
Will this is the same wallpaper I had for years. It was the same wallpaper before the update when the font was white!
Whatever this last update was, it has deemed my background too light then, even though it is the same before

Just want to add, along with the clock, I want to find out how to change ALL THE FONT color on lock screen to be white, as it was before. This includes the date, battery, time, everything. HELP
yes I have turned it off and on several times.
it is an iphone X if that matters.
