After a good while of downloading, Final Cut Pro X Trial can't be installed because my Mac needs to be updated at the least to the macOs 10.14.6 version. Right now my MacBook Air is updated to the 10.13.6 version and I bought it in late 2017. What's wrong? I was really looking forward to this trial. :(

The current version of the software requires 10.14.6 or 10.15. Those are the system requirements listed on the web site.
You have 20 GB free on your system drive? That drive is full. You need to keep a minimum of 10% free space for the disk to be functional. Many users recommend at least 15% free space.
Thank you so much! But I've been trying to download it all day and for some reason it just stops after a while. I have 20 giga bytes of space now, I tried downloading it while charging the laptop but it's the same. It's so strange. And the same happened when I tried to download Catalina.
There’s a chance that 20GB may not be enough for the installation to complete. The Mojave download is just over 6GB and there needs to be space for expanding it and for storing temporary files while the installer does its thing.
Yes, and I want to install those but they're so heavy, Mojave weighs more than 3 gbs... Is there no other way?
And also now that I'm trying to install Mojave, it only shows to me the versions up to the 14.4 one, not the 14.6 that i need for FCPX...
My laptop only has 121 GB of storage so 20 gigabytes is more than 15%

To install Mojave, now that Catalina has been released, use this link:
Get macOS Mojave from the App Store
This will let you install 10.14.6.
Of course, you may also go and install Catalina.
