Cannot use AirPort Time Capsule as a network shared drive

Hi,

I have recently bought a used time capsule to backup my Mac and it all works fine except I cannot connect to its shared drive. So if I go finder -> Network then I will have my time capsule shown there but when I click connect and after entered password it will pop up "There was a problem connecting to the server ...Contact your system administrator for more information." error.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Jing

Reset the TC to factory and start again.

Use very short names.. no spaces and pure alphanumerics.

Passwords same rules but can be longer.

Make sure you have IPv6 set to link local only on the TC.

In the computer it will depend on if you are using IPv6 on the network or not.

I am guessing the TC is setup to bridge and plugged into existing router?

Post screenshot of the actual setup of the TC.. Just the summary shows us a lot more info than just the general pic.
