sidecar color offset on ipad pro

When I enable sidecar between macbook pro and ipad pro, I have a sort of color offset (especially in reds and yellows) on ipad display.

it doesn't matter if its in duplicate mode or not.

Does it happen to anyone else?

there are difference in colors, actually, but it's not my problem:

Here's an example: Using Photoshop, on ipad pro in sidecar mode, you get greysh shadows/borders on lines, especially visible on yellows and reds. It's similar to a problem with register in offset printing

I've already turned off true tone, nightshift etc..

Problem remains, only on ipad pro. If sidecar is in duplicate monitor mode, on macbook pro display, lines are ok. In ipad pro you get that anomaly.

Hi steve—f,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. From my understanding, colors on your iPad Pro appear unexpectedly when using Sidecar. I’d love to assist you.

First, consider whether this happens when viewing multiple apps and websites. Also, try using Sidecar in multiple lighting conditions and when connected to multiple, reliable networks.

Additionally, be sure that your iPad’s display isn’t in Night Shift or using another display accommodation when this happens:

Use Night Shift on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Use Display & Text Size preferences on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

From there, check to see if this happens when your iPad Pro is connected to another Mac. This step helps isolate the issue to your iPad or to your Mac.

I hope this information is useful. Kind regards.
