sidecar on iPad colours are bad

I use a 15-inch MacBook Pro (2019) and an iPad Pro 11inch (2nd gen). I use Catalina's sidecar feature to connect my iPad to my MacBook as a drawing tablet. my main issue is that the colours on my MacBook screen is significantly different from the colour display on my iPad.

the colours on my iPad are more saturated and yellowish compared to my MacBook. my MacBook's colour profile is the default colour lcd and on my iPad its HD 709-A (ugly colour profile)

I tried to change the colour profile on my iPad via the sidecar display settings but it doesn't allow me to add or change it to anything else. I also read somewhere on the forum that colour sync utility is not compatible in sidecar.

is there an alternative solution to this problem? or when will apple give us an update for sidecar that improves the resolution and colour matching? I'm sure a lot of designers and illustrators are having this same problem

iPad Pro, iPadOS 14

Perhaps the difference in colour temperature and saturation are due to your iPad True Tone Display settings? True Tone will attempt to optimise your iPad display settings to your ambient lighting conditions.

As a test, perhaps disable this feature from iPad settings:

Settings > Display & Brightness - True Tone - set to OFF
