Sidecar not working with MacBook pro 2012.

Sidecar worked just fine on Catalina with my MacBook pro 2012 edition until I updated Catalina April 11. I read the requirements for Sidecar and they were changed not to include earlier edition of MacBook pros. Why did Apple make this restriction? It has really hindered my teaching with my iPad/Mac combination using Zoom. Because the Mac does not have a touch screen I was using my iPad with my Mac for writing class notes for my math class. I am doing to have to use my Surface Book pro to do my class notes.

Updated from what to what? Are you talking about the "supplemental update" to 10.15.4 that was just released?

please advise...

You can always revert back to a previous install of your macOS to just prior—if you have adequate back ups.
