Bluetooth Headphones suddenly too quiet

Hi,

Before, my bluetooth headphones used to be quite loud on my macbook pro, I would have the volume slider on minimum and it would be a nice volume.

But it's since lost all it's volume, I put it on max volume on bluetooth and it's still really quiet. I've tried going on the MIDI controller, using Soundflower Plugins, tried some Terminal coding (even though I don't really know how to go about it), using extended Bluetooth Tools, and I can't fix it.

It's not my headphones cause on my iPhone they are way louder.

Any suggestions?

Best,

T

Hello tomas38,

If I'm understanding you right, sound doesn't get very loud on your MacBook Pro when using your Bluetooth headset. I know how important it is to get great sound quality with accessories connected to your Mac. I'm happy to help you out with this.

First, I recommend trying out the steps listed in this support article: If sound quality is reduced when using Bluetooth headphones with your Mac. If the issue persists, try using a different Bluetooth headset with your Mac to see if the same thing happens. Although the sound is loud when you use your headset with your iPhone, that doesn't completely rule out the issue being tied back to the headset itself. Testing with a different headset with the Mac will help narrow things down further.

Send a response back if you need continued support with this.
