Java Runtime not working on Catalina

I installed the Catalina beta a few months ago and it caused Java Runtime to stop working! I had re-install Mojave(what a pain!!) so I could use Java Runtime.

Does anyone know if this issue was fixed? I do not want to go through the process of upgrading to Catalina if I cannot run Java Runtime....

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
