Apple Books can’t access your library.

Message: "Make sure the disk containing your library is connected, then click Try Again. Library Location: (null) You can also reset your library, then sign into view and re-download your purchased books."

But reset button does nothing. Mac Catalina 10.15

I only started USING 'books' over this past summer, before Catalina. I was instantly put off by how problematic it seemed to be. Now it's just too frustrating for words. I have encountered at least FOUR separate, unique dealbreaker flaws that required either days figuring it out on my own, OR hours solving it with Apple support. I see light at the end of the tunnel though...I can't admit defeat! Thanks for sharing your stories.
