How do I remove this shortcut app?

How do I remove the shortcuts app? I have had a look and I don’t like it and won’t have any need for it, it’s just another useless icon on my screen that I can’t seem to remove

So delete it. Assuming you're on iOS13, press and hold the icon and select Rearrange Apps from the menu, then hit the x in the corner to delete.
