Upgrading to macOS Catalina

I'm trying to upgrade to macOS Catalina (currently using macOS Mojave 10.14.6) and I'm getting the following message: "This copy of the Install macOS Catalina application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS".

How do I uninstall this version and start over?

Go to the Applications Folder find the macOS Catalina installer and drag it to the Trash. Enter your Administrative password to trash it. Download a fresh copy of the macOS Catalina installer.

Make sure to make a Time Machine backup of your Mojave 10.14.6 system before you upgrade, in case you need or want to go back to Mojave. Some of your applications may not work with Catalina.
