Sometimes it will reboot itself, othertimes I have to hard reset.
It happened once making a phone call, another time in the Zoom app, and then another in just the photo app ... so it's not tied to any specific action. iOS 13.1.2 - 512GB version.

Same for me with my 11 pro. Locks into the black screen with spinning circle then gets super hot. Happens randomly when taking a picture and on a phone call. Not safe at all that it happens during phone calls. Only way to fix it is to hard reset.
Not having the issue but it doesn’t matter if anyone else is experiencing the issue. You should absolutely call or visit store for warranty support
