Sound distorted on ITunes playback.

I've just noticed a slight crackling on upper frequencies - especially on playback of classical piano music.

After some experimentation it looks like the answer is either to turn off the equalizer totally - or use a simple preset like bass boost that is essentially flat in the upper frequencies (recommended).

BTW not much point playing with the other settings for playback 'enhance' and 'soundcheck' since these dont seem to have any significant effect on the intermittent 'crackle'.

Apple music playback speed Sometimes, when I try to play a song on apple music, it will start playing and speed up (a five minute song plays back in a few seconds). This happens on strong and weak connections, as well as streamed and downloaded songs. It only seems to happen when I use the old Apple Stereo Headphones (the perfectly round ones). listen to songs with poor sound quality! listening to songs with poor sound quality can damage the speakers? even if only using low volume?
