Hello Chander1969,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I see that you're unable to hear or be heard on a phone call while using your AirPods connected to your iPhone. I would be happy to help point you towards a resolution.

Let's start by checking the settings of your AirPods:

Adjust the settings of your AirPods - Apple Support

Specifically, ensure that Microphone is set to Automatic, and that Automatic Ear Detection has been enabled. Test what happens when you make or receive a call on the AirPods after:

Make and answer phone calls with AirPods on iPhone - Apple Support

If you're still unable to hear the other person or they can't hear you, do the AirPods show as the audio output device selected in the audio card on your iPhone while on a call? You'll see a photo of what this should look like under the "Listen with your AirPods" section here:

Connect and use your AirPods - Apple Support

Is there any change when you adjust the volume slider in the audio card while on a call? Keep us posted with what you find.

Cheers!
