Schedule your Online Personal Setup session.

Hi, I have just got my hands on iPhone 11 today but I have problems setting it up because it cannot connect to Wi-Fi network. In fact, it doesn't show any Wi-Fi network when my other devices can connect to a home Wi-Fi. So I try to schedule an online personal setup session but I cannot choose any other day but Sat 19 which I am not available.

Hello unsatisfieduser2,

If I'm understanding you right, you're experiencing difficulties getting your new iPhone 11 set up due to not being able to connect to Wi-Fi. Also, you've not been able to arrange a Personal Setup session in an Apple Store due to limited availability. I'm sure you're anxious to get your new iPhone all set up, so I'm happy to help you out with all of this today.

As far as the Personal Setup sessions are concerned, the availability can be limited depending on which store you choose to go to due to and how busy that store may be. Did you receive an email regarding Personal Setup after your iPhone was shipped to you? If so, that email should have included an invite to schedule a one-on-one online session too. This may be a better option for you if you aren't able to make it to the Apple Store during the times offered.

I'd like to provide you with some help with your Wi-Fi connection as well. Are you still in the initial setup steps where your iPhone is trying to connect to Wi-Fi in order to activate it? If so, you should be given the option to activate via cellular instead if it isn't able to locate a Wi-Fi network. If you have a computer, you can also activate your iPhone via iTunes. Take a look at this support article for help: If you can't activate your iPhone. You can then try connecting to Wi-Fi via the Settings app afterwards. If you've already got the phone activated and set up, but it's not connecting to Wi-Fi in Settings > Wi-Fi, try out the steps here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network.
