macOS catalina audio editing audacity

2019 October 12th

Since upgrading to MacOS Catalina. My audio editing audacity doesn't work.

Will it ever work? Is there an alternative program like this? ie. 64 bits

Hi,

Catalina is not fully supportive of Audacity right now but somebody on the Audacity forum posted a workaround -- which works, I just tried it -- and you can find it here:https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=107162&p=378694

According to RoaringApps user reports, the Audacity app should work fine with macOS Catalina. However, this site also states that it is NOT support by the developer.

Since this is an open-source app, you will need to check with the developer site to see if they have any newer updates.
