My iPhone order keeps getting cancelled

When the iPhone 11 preorders were opened, I tried ordering the iPhone 11 Pro through their Veterans and Military Store page. I had some issues there where it wouldn't let me choose any options. I tried again that night, but when I clicked on add to bag, it displayed a cannot find page. I tried again a couple days later and was able to preorder it. It said that estimated deliver was going to be between October 7 and October 14. I had been checking the order status and it remained at processing. I decided to check a few days after the initial estimated delivery date and found that it got cancelled on the 8th. I contacted Apple and they said they couldn't verify some of my information and that's why it got cancelled. I tried ordering the iPhone 11 Pro Max this time but when I tried to place the order, I got a "Your payment authorization failed" message. I called my card company and they said nothing was wrong on their end and that no authorization request was even made. They even checked their VISA authorization department and it was good on their end too. I contacted Apple again and they asked if I put in my billing information correctly. I told them I triple checked to make sure all the info was correct. They just told me that the message only appears if my bank denies the payment or I put in the information incorrectly. I tried ordering it again using a different card and was able to place the order, but that same day my order got cancelled yet again.


I don't live near an Apple store to go to and even if I did when I asked about the military discount offered through their Veterans and Military Store page, they said they couldn't give that to me at the store or through the phone and that I could only do it myself through that certain page.


Does anybody know any way to resolve this? My credit is good, and the only other purchases I've made through Apple was music through the iTunes store and everything went through then.

But I do know this, and maybe it's pertinent ...


Your payment method must be valid and based in the country where the Apple Store is located. From your description above, it sounds like this may be the problem. Perhaps you're deployed in some country other than your home country. And perhaps you're trying to purchase from the Store in the country where you're deployed.
