I tried to start my free trial and it is trying to get me to buy a extra month and won’t let me listen to music

I try to do the three month trial through my school. Well after it said accepted it is now saying that I need to pay for a plan after I done been excepted for the three month student plan for four dollars and some odd cents. Every time I try to go and redo the three month purchase and is asking if I want to pay for a extra month. What am I supposed to do
