Unable to switch subscription type to student plan.

I'm currently enrolled in Uottawa. When I tried to switch my plan to the student plan it just said "unable to change your subscription plan". This is even after I verified that I was a student. I'm not sure why this is the case but if anyone knows, please explain if possible.

Have you tried cancelling the existing subscription and then starting a new subscription as a student?
