Possibility of speakers damage due to closed lid.

Hi,

I'm wondering if playing audio via built-in speakers while the laptop lid is closed would cause any damage to the speakers or any components or not?

My situation is like the demonstration of MacBook stand; use external monitor/keyboard/mouse and internal speakers.

MacBook Pro laptops are made to play audio output from songs and movies and all else when the clamshell is closed.

But, if something’s misconfigured by “malware”, then most certainly something might happen.

I use a Henge Dock, and never have I had any issues with my audio.

But, as for possibilities, there’s nothing to base that on.
