If I understand your post correctly, you are seeing a message that documents have been deleted from another device when you try to save changes. I’d like to help.

Documents can be deleted from your MacBook, your iPhone, or from iCloud.com. Follow these steps to recover deleted documents:

How do I get back files that I deleted?

If you need to access a file that you deleted within the last 30 days, follow these steps to get it back.

On iCloud.com

Sign in to iCloud.com.

Go to iCloud Drive.

In the bottom-right corner, select Recently Deleted items.

Browse the list of files.

You can also go to Settings > Restore Files. After 30 days, files are removed from Recently Deleted and Restore Files.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 11 or later

Open the Files app.

Go to Locations > Recently Deleted. 

Select the file that you want to keep.

Tap Recover. 

After 30 days, your files are removed from Recently Deleted.

On your Mac

Click Trash in the Dock.

Select the file that you want to keep.

Drag it to the desktop or another folder.
