Why can't I watch DirecTV online since Ioaded macOS Catalina?

It’s the MacOS Catalina. You need to call Apple and have them walk you through downgrading your OS back to Mojave or High Sierra. Catalina does not work with DirecTV yet.
Good luck, when I downgraded my OS it worked instantly as it had for years. It’s not a DirecTV issue issue with the Mac OS. I was not ready to get rid of DirecTV so I downgraded so it works great now.
I switched to Spectrum. They have a deal called Choice 10 for $24.99. You get all your local channels plus your choice of 10 non-local (eg, AMC). It works on my MacBook Air (Catalina), and there is an app for it to run on my smart TVs and ROKU. Works like a charm. You get live TV plus on-Demand when you miss a series episode and movies.
I have had this problem too for almost a month now.
Yes, I have tried with Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
Scenario using Safari (This happened up until today)
I tried this procedure daily hoping that it would have been fixed.
Starting (Sat, 10/26) today, when you select "watch" nothing happens - no more prompting to install the player and no streaming.
Don't know. What happens when you try? Did you have to install a DirecTV app? Are you using a browser to access the content?
My plan is to drop DirecTV rather than downgrade my OS. It was time for me to chord cut anyway.
