Experiencing 'staingate' on my Retina late 2013 Macbook pro. What should I do.

I have only recently thought the stains on my screen are annoying and unusual, and when looking up my problem I've found that it has been very common with laptops like mine. Firstly, I bought this computer in 2013 (more than 4 years ago) is am I no longer entitled to a free repair? Secondly, have there been any verified DIY fixes to this problem. I found a youtube video showing someone using Listerine but I'm not convinced it will work.

Note : I've attached photos of my screen.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

"But based on my recent experiences if you manage to contact Apple they'll almost certainly tell you to buy a new laptop."

This is 1000% false. Apple will quote the price for a screen replacement. The screen delaminate comes from using solvents to clean the screen, period. If the original purchase of the qualified MacBook is within 4 years from when Apple's screen replacement program started then it's covered for a screen replacement. If not then they will quote a repair cost. They don't tell people to buy a new Mac. SMH.

Hi Mr DPJ. I just put it to the test and delighted to say you are (almost) right! A qualifying MacBook Pro with retina screen which is suffering with the antireflective coating going patchy is covered by Apple's replacement programme if still within 4 years of purchase. So they've arranged for me to take it to an Apple Authorised Dealer to sort. Thank you.

My other experience with Apple earlier today though was less helpful. Having updated my iPhone to find Reminders would no longer work until Catilina was available for my iMac and after doing that then discovering that my iPad mini couldn't upgrade to iOS13 making Reminders inaccessible between all 3 devices, only to then be told I should access them on the iCloud via the web browser on the iPad and to then find Safari on the iPad is no longer compatible with iCloud - with the Apple Support line then saying the answer would be to buy a new iPad to replace my hitherto perfectly good iPad....
