Import to Camera Roll?

Hey all,
I created an intro video I would like to attach to my videos before I upload them to iTunes, I understand the iMovie for the iPhone only see videos that are on the camera roll. Is there a way to import a video TO the camera roll?

Thanks.

FINALLY FIGURED THE QUICKEST SOLUTION FOR THIS.

1. On your PC, make a folder that contains the video/s you want to transfer into your Camera Roll.

2. Mix some pictures in it, 2-3 will do. (Note: Don't put in too much pictures because you'll have to sync the whole folder later on.)

3. Sync your iPhone to iTunes.

4. On the "User's iPhone," select the Photos tab under Settings.

5. Check Sync Photos.

6. Click Copy photos from, then locate and select the folder where you saved the video. (Note: The one you made from Step 1.)

7. Back to iTunes, you'll see the second box that has All folders, Selected folders, and Include videos. Check the Include videos selection.

8. Finally, SYNC and wait.

9. Unplug your iPhone and check your Camera Roll.

10. Find to see the video you transferred. (I found mine in the Videos folder.)

11. See magic. 😉

It is clear to know how to import to camera roll. I think iTunes may work for this importing.

1.Connect your iPhone to iTunes and click on the iPhone

2. Click the "Photos" tab and then select "Sync Photos From iPhoto." If your photos weren't transfered to iPhoto, select the location from the drop-down menu. Click "Sync."

3.Tap on the "Photos" app and then tap "Photo Library."

4.Tap the "Edit" button and select the pictures you want to import to your Camera Roll.

5.Select "Share" and then tap "Mail."

6.Enter an email address that is setup to use your iPhone Mail app. Then, tap "Send."

7.Tap the "Mail" app and then select the email message you just sent to yourself.

8. Tap on one of the photos and select the "Save 'X' Images" button. The "X" represents the number of photos you sent. Check your Camera Roll to view your saved images.

This is the way my friend recommend to me to import to camera roll or transfer your pictures to iPhone camera roll. Hope it can help you!

Dont know if you got your answer by now, but I just got to make it happen. I simply emailed the video to myself on gmail and opened the email with the video attachment on my phone. Once you play the video, you can click on it and it will give you the option to save the video. By doing so, the video will be saved on your photos folder on your phone. 🙂 I wanted to share a video on Instagram, and Instagram will only upload files from your photos folder so the whole sending the movie to imovie wouldnt work for me either. Hope it helps you! 🙂

What I did was imported my pic/video folder the I selected the photo or video I wanted saved to my camera roll and hit duplicate and it immediately made a copy to my camera roll! Once I finished duplicating the videos and pics I wanted to my camera roll I just synced an empty folder to my iPhone to eliminate the folder I first synced from my PC.

Hope this helps, this is an old thread and there is probably an easier way to do it. If there is please share.
