Tab button not working in
I've just bought a new Macbook Air but the tab button doesn't seem to work when using word?

I appears that you are having an issue with the Tab key on a MacBook Air when using the Word app.
Try opening the native Mac app called Text Edit. Does the Tab key work as expected there?
If it does, then you'll want to reach out to Microsoft support for steps to set up the tab function in the version of Word you're using.
If it does not work in Text Edit, it may be a hardware issue. Reaching out to Apple Support would be your best course of action if that's the case.
