Uninstall defaultproducts 1.0

What is defaultproducts 1.0 and how do I safely and completely delete it? It appears to be a malicious app that has found its way to my computer (iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

Thanks. Installed Malwarebytes Free Version, deleted Defaultproducts applications (multiple that seemed associated with Safari browser), ran Malwarebytes scan, deleted a few questionable files and rebooted. All seems well, and will be more vigilant in the future.

You downloaded some malware. Please download and use Malwaybytes.com and it should be able to remove it. Going forward it is easy to avoid malware if you do the following basic steps;

Never download anything from a site you do not know or trust.
Never use a Torrent for downloading software you did not pay for.
Avoid scams, refer to https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-8071 for advice on how to avoid them.
