In iTunes I used to be able to hold down Command and click on the album artwork on the top of iTunes to pull up a full-screen artwork view. That function now appears to be gone in the new Music app in Catalina. Is it another keyboard shortcut now or is it a no-go?
You can try using the "FullCovered" free app. Not the most stylish or streamlined visual experience, but you get to see your high resolution album artwork full screen with track info. I keep it running on a secondary desktop window. A shame that Apple doesn't seem to be interested in integrating such features in their music software. Not enough monetizing opportunities I guess.

Thank you SO MUCH Billfrench! I downloaded FullCovered and that's exactly what I need. Plus, I can still control Music through the Touch Bar when I'm on the app. It'd still be nice for Apple to add that feature back in but this is a perfectly good workaround.
Not that I'm aware of, it appears to truly be gone in Music.app. It's such a shame, I used that feature constantly.

@MBarrowclift and @shaynewhite, and anyone else who cares, make sure you've done the same - as tt2 gave the link above, take a moment to give the feedback to Apple. A very unlikely but amazing miracle could occur.
^ Exactly, people outside of Apple have no insight into Radar, so we have no meaningful way to gauge and gain attention for issues other than with social media and forums like this, so there's certainly value to leveraging both mediums.
This is quite frustrating. I can't stand when features are removed for 'updates.' Feels very much like a Microsoft move, not a Mac move.
I get that this is an aesthetic feature, but much of the Mac experience is based on the aesthetic.
Exactly, @shaynewhite! This is one of iTunes' best "secret" features, and now it's gone from the new Music app.

How to enable this feature on *iTunes*: Command-Click (while holding the Command button, click) on the tiny album artwork square up in the iTunes header. This pops up the album artwork medium-large and center on your screen. Then, right-click that, and choose "Fit to Screen". Myself, I then drag this huge artwork window to become the right-hand half of my iMac's screen, while the iTunes program main display occupies the left half of my iMac's screen. The album artwork updates as you play different albums & artists, which really adds to the iTunes experience. (Why is Tim Cook not showing people that they can do THIS on their beautiful widescreen iMacs? That would sell it for me! Is looking at tiny artwork & bloated amounts of white space really more appealing?)
I will miss this terribly if it is gone forever from the new Music app. :-(
