How to transfer just music or photos from old mac using time machine
I want to transfer ONLY my music and photos from my old mac to my new one. I have time machine. Thoughts?

Drill down through the folders in Time Machine to where the data that you want to restore resides, select it, and restore it. Depending on what apps you used and how you imported your pictures you may need to restore a Photos or iPhotos database rather than folders of pictures.
