Does Keychain save my mail app email addresses and passwords to icloud since i dont remember them all and am about to upgrade to the new iphone
You can store any time of username and password in Keychain - it is not limited to Apple / iCloud. But Keychain can save / sync your usernames and passwords to iCloud when you enable it in Settings.

On your current iPhone, make sure in Settings > YourName > iCloud that "Keychain" is enabled. Your passwords will be saved to iCloud at that point and when you get your new iPhone you can resync your passwords back from iCloud by enabling Keychain on your new iPhone.
That includes my multiple yahoo mail and gmail accounts in my mail app? not icloud mail tho
