iPad 10.2 support life time

Does anyone know how long apple support their iPads for ?

I have just brought a new IPad 10.2 inch model and understand its a new product from apple but was wondering how soon iPads are obsoleted

My wife has also just brought an IPad Pro 12.9 inch and was wondering how long this is supported for.

Going by past evidence, ios devices get 5 years of updates.

This may change in the future, no one here knows.
