i can no longer transfer videos from my iPhone 7 to iMac

What can I use instead of QuickTime to transfer videos from iPhone to Mac, since it is no longer supported?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!


I understand you would like to transfer videos that you've taken on your iPhone 7 to your iMac. The easiest way to do this is to enable iCloud Photos on both devices. If you don't wish to use iCloud Photos you can transfer the videos manually with the USB cable that you use to charge your iPhone. Make sure you have a recent backup of your iPhone.


Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Use Photos on your Mac
