Mail slow to load, blanks out IOS 13.1.3

Seems it is beyond the mail app. I’ve tried a few other mail apps (eg spark) and they have the same delays on gmail and other imap accounts loading. Could this be bigger than apples mail app?

Similar issues on 7s plus after three updates. Also sometimes Mail crashes without warning and I'm back to main screen. Since Mail is such a critical application looking for some relief on this ASAP.

Total disaster. Same issues with Mac Mail on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Missing emails. Blank “ghost” emails that were previously read. Mail thrown to junk and deleted without my doing so. What a mess. Apple has lost sight of the most IMPORTANT function for us all EMAIL.

Having the same issue. Never had mail problems before until I “upgraded” to 13.1.3. Apple really messed up. Every time I go into the mail app it’s blank for several seconds no matter how good the connection is. I need to hit the Unread filter several times and sometimes it still does not work. The app also crashes now as I am trying to forward or reply to emails. The crashing never happened before this upgrade. I have ample storage and use an Iphone X.

I urge Apple to fix these bugs asap.

Having the exact same issues iPhoneXR iOS 13.1.3. The funny thing is that the gmail app loads my work email just fine. Sure makes it even more tempting to look toward Android since Mac mail app and calendar are so consistently troublesome and less than functional. Probably time to start dumping some of Apple shares while I’m ahead.

I am having the same problem with extremely slow downloading/updating of my email. Email is a basic function that IS the reason I have an iPad. Screwing that function up in order add useless other features makes me want to go back to Microsoft products (at least it is expected with them....). In my opinion this updated version of IOS is terrible. Why do you feel the need to change simple things like swiping down from the top of the home screen to get Search - -now you have to do it via touching in the middle of the screen. Changes like a just annoying. It’s akin to some Geek in the auto industry deciding one day that the gas pedal should be moved to the left foot and the brake to the right foot. Apple STOP doing this kind of stuff! You did the same kind of things to iTunes and killed that platform...

Any movement or fixes on this??? The one "Helpful" response was a "I have this problem too" (like the 118 others of us!). C'mon Apple wizards...clue in the community.

PS: I can NOT stand the "fix" to delete my mail account and re-install it, which takes forever to download and restore my calendars, notes, etc. and duplicates tons of entries in the process.

Got a whole company calling IT about needing to hit refresh a bunch to get email to show up. Also if you hit delete while in a message (vs from subject line summary page), the same message just refreshes on the screen so you wonder what you just deleted. Forwarding doesn't include attachments often, even if hitting 'include'. Um.. test releases please? Mgmt is asking about Android. Quick fix needed.

I am having the same issues. I was hoping that the different updates would fix it but 13.2 is on the phone and still the same problem. I wonder when this is going to get fixed. I cannot operate like this.

Mail is godawful slow following iOS 13.1.3 update. Please fix this!

13.1.3 is a disaster for email. I rely on my iPhone all day for email and time is of the essence. Apple needs to fix this yesterday.

Could be, but it's certainly a result of the 13.1.3 update.....

Email works perfectly on my Gmail app in iOS. My feeling is that it's the Apple Mail 100%.

But you get 300 emoji’s! Lol I feel you pain this whole 13..... update is horrible!

Same issues in at the three other mail apps I’ve tried that all use imap. Funny coincidence maybe!
