Dual Bluetooth - two separate Bluetooth devices simultaneously

As some older samsung devices already support dual bluetooth, when can we expect this for Iphone OS?

Older and newer smartphones, like the samsung galaxy 8, already support this feature. Apple's latest Iphones all feature bluetooth 5.0 low latency, meaning older Iphones could be updated to support dual bluetooth

With the IOS13 firmware update Apple has made it possible for 2 airpods to be connected to one Iphone, but this is not solving my issue. I would like to be able to connect any two bluetooth receivers I want, not just Apple products!

At the moment this can only be solved by using a third party bluetooth transmitter..

Thanks for your response @Michael Black. You are correct in your statement.

Though, I was hoping someone could provide their best solution, some insight or a tip for the issue I'm facing.

I found several speculations online (by Mac Otakara of course), but that's everything on the topic of dual bluetooth on Iphones.

Speculation isn't permitted on this forum and Michael is correct in saying that no one here knows Apple's future plans, if Apple will or won't open up dual Bluetooth connection simultaneously.

Use this link however, to express your thoughts to Apple on this as it will be read by them, but they won't respond back to you.

Exactly what do you mean by “two separate” Bluetooth devices? If I understand correctly, I am doing this today with my 6s. If I am in my car and also have my earphone in my ear, an inbound phone call will ring in my ear and in my car.

Whichever “Send” button I press will draw the phone call to that device. Likewise for outbound calling. A BT LAN can typically have up to 8 members, including the hosting device. However BT only supports one simultaneous voice path. So, you can have as many as 7 devices communicating with your iDevice at once, but only one of them can be passing audio at a time.

Does this help?
