How do I increase the text size on Apple News sidebar?

Since the Catalina update News now has small, 8ptish type on the sidebar that list the magazines. How do I increase the text size.

This is done in Apple menu > System Preferences > General > Sidebar icon size

Downside to this setting is it will affect more than just the News App - it is a global setting for all sidebars (Finder, Music, Mail, etc.)
